Hello Peeps! Welcome back again to another chapter of "So I Read Hype Book", a series where i read a book that super hype in the book comunnity and see if it meets my expectation as the hype. Today i'm bringing you the one that me myself highly anticipate it since last year i had it in my shelf, but just got the chance to read it now (yeah i'm blaming my OCD to not allow me to read it right away because i always have to read by sequence) so, let's dive in!

So How Hype is this book?

Oh i just can't say much and enough for this, this book has been soooo boooming since its released. Mostly i believe because of Jay Kristoff's Nevernight also got much love from the readers. But apart from that this book also become super rare to be found right now, it's not only that it's rare but also so pricey specially if you want to have the hard cover of it.

Which lead to the reason why it's rare, the cover it self is amazing and unique, me myself never encounter quite book with this kind of unique "packaging" like this. Not even the next series  by this two author : the Aurora Ciclye.

Synopsis

In year 2575, planet Karenza IV invaded and in the edge of extinction by two rivalry corporate who illegally mining in the planet and decided to perish it all with the people in it in order to cover the crime. Kady who just break up with Ezra this morning, decided to go out from school seek for shelter out of the bunker when the bombing start, with Ezra accidentally tagging along with her. 

Receiving the distress signal from Kerenza IV, UTA (some sort of police if you may) in Alexander-78V fleet come to rescue the survivor and with the AI called AIDAN, UTA succeed destroying 3 out of 4 dreadnought from BeiTech and on their way with two other fleet Hypatia and Copernicus to the closest jump Station Heimdall. Kady being healthy was in the Hypatia while Ezra who was hit at the time was in the Alexander. The bad news is that Alexander was hit in the proses that damage a few part of AIDAN and  the last surviving dreadnought form BeiTech, Lincoln is still pursuing the fleets. 

My Honest Review

Of course i got confuse at first and also at some part. AIDAN was declining to do as its commanded, i was like, is this AI being hacked? I even mentioned it in my story in my bookstagram and asked about it, since i was so curious. This unique concept indeed need a bit of effort for you to get used to but i believe you'll come along, so don't worry much about it.

The book might be intimidating by its thickness but surprisingly i finished it in less than 24 hours! Thanks to work from home i guess but man... this book is such a page turner. Kady is smart such a IT geek herself, Ezra is just such a sweet boy. But i can't deny that the main character that catches my attention here is AIDAN. We got sort of Dystopia feels in this book, that reminds me a bit of maze runner in my personal opinion.

Since it's a young adult, the language are way nicer than Nevernight in comparison. They still cussing but it's blocked which is funny to read and i kind of have fun guessing the right word that being blocked there. The AIDAN's narrations also fun to read because it's not like a file but more like an art for me. The one that made your head turn 180 degrees or even turn the book 360 degrees for it. 

My Verdict

This book definitely meet my expectations and worth the hype. It's a Woot! Woot! for me (please direct to my rating system for further information if you new for my rating system) i can't really say much but to highly recommend you to read it!
